Spiderman's Secrets of Success
Author: Arthur R. Barnes

“My Spider Sense is tingling” are the famous lines of Marvel superhero Spiderman. One of the things that I admire most about this superhero is he is a master at multi-tasking.

I mean he was in high school, had a girlfriend, kept a secret superhero identity, fought villains, made it home in time to eat dinner, and get a good night’s sleep most of the time.

Many people would love to have the creative drive to manage two or three things from his list. I am about to show you Spiderman’s Secrets of Success that will help you spin into action and save the day.

“MY SPIDEY SENSE IS TINGLING”
Spiderman always senses when he is in danger. He always knows when trouble is coming. Many people do not have this keen ability because often times they ignore it.

It is intuition. Some people have it, some people ignore it, and some people have a truckload of it like Spiderman. According to Webster’s Dictionary Intuition-is quick and ready insight. I like to call it inner speaking wisdom.

Detectives call it a gut feeling or a hunch. The more we listen to our intuitive side the louder our internal bullhorn becomes.

THE WEB SWINGER DOES IT AGAIN
While watching the trailer for the movie Spiderman, I became intrigued. Mostly by a scene, they lifted from the movie where he spins a web between the fallen Twin Towers to capture bank robbers in a helicopter. After seeing the movie trailer, I was all set for the movie.

After they lifted the scene, I did not want to go see it in the movies. I waited until it came out on DVD.

I was impressed after viewing it. The web swinger does it again. He always shoots webs, swings on webs, and depends upon webs to help capture villains, and make it home in time to sleep.

Spiderman is famous for web swinging. I look at web swinging as networking and public relations in the business world.

Great networking with others with a combination of publicity pays off big time.

Spiderman never pays for publicity yet he has a publicist.

J. Jonah Jemison is Spiderman’s PR specialist. Jemison works for a newspaper. He also has it in for Spiderman. His desire to bring Spidey down provides radical press for the wall crawler. Spiderman has an insatiable knack for networking with other Superheroes to fight villains or just to hang around.

SWINGING INTO ACTION
Spiderman always swings into action. We should learn a valuable lesson from Spiderman. He never stands around when a problem or danger is lurking. He always moves out of its way devising a plan to handle it.

It is vital to our success in life to remain busy swinging into action the moment we sense trouble or danger. Acting quickly upon problems gives you an advantage point over them.

Swinging into action means always being prepared for whatever comes your way.

Recently the newly appointed CEO of the company called me in for a pop evaluation. I went into to the meeting finding myself a bit under fire. I kept my cool allowing him to present his case while remaining attentive.

By the time, I finished he bestowed upon me his secretary giving me authority to enlist her to help me in any project, his complete assistance to help me with any problem, the right to walk into his office to talk with him about anything that I need to speak to him about.

Swinging into action bonded Mark and I closer than before. It also gives me a better business advantage.

LOOKING AT THINGS UPSIDE DOWN
Spiderman always takes flight to see things from another perspective. As workers from every profession imaginable, from every business strata in the world, we should look at things upside down in order to get a better view of things.

Never look at things from only your perspective. The reason being is it closes the door for alternative angles, which may have a better view than the one your seeing now.

Earlier this year we went to Madison Square Garden to see a basketball game between St. John’s University and Georgetown.

On the way to the Garden, two mysterious women walk up handing my cousin and I two more tickets free of charge. Excitement about these tickets aroused us.

After speaking to New York Knicks center Mutombo, we hurry to our seats.
Smiles enhance our faces because of this great view. We call my other cousin on his cell phone to tell him where the new tickets placed us.

To our surprise, the tickets we came with were better and closer than the free tickets the women gave us (we actually were right behind sports writers).

St. Johns dominated Georgetown whose whole strategy that night became an open playbook. They drive in from the left side afraid to come into the paint and never driving to the right side. This marked their whole performance on February 18.

St. Johns despite its scandal, minus several star players, lack of players thereof executed a perfect game.

Looking at things upside down is looking at them from multiple angles for maximum perception. Just this week Elly and I discussed looking at things from the others perspective to help dissolve arguments.

No wonder Spiderman always has a better method to attack problems, and defeat foes, because he comes from many different angles.

O.K. Superheroes now is the time to go save the day by applying the Spiderman Secrets of Success. Spin into action defeat the problems and have the best day of your life-for the rest of your life.
