Richard has five self-published books. His special area of technical
expertise includes data manipulation miracles, and teaching others how
to be able to take those tasks which consume 20 to 40 hours, and
reducing it to minutes with tools already on your computer desktop!
Richard believes in living a very full and energized life, such as being
an avid skydiver with 180+ jumps; he has run two 26-mile marathons, has
worked with the White House Advance Team, has served with the Marine
Corps Reserve, has served with eight political campaigns from Office of
the Mayor up through United States President, and was a finalist for the
Gold Congressional Award for Community Service for 1200 hours of service
with prisoners, homeless people, runaway teens, and others. He launched
the Panorama Toastmasters Club while President of the 1500 Locust
Residents Association. He also was the founder and past chairman of the
Philadelphia Pyramid Club's Programs Committee.
Richard uses a very unique teaching tool - implementing professional stage
magic! In the world of magic and entertainment, Richard has had
personalized training with some of the top award winning celebrity names
in the world of professional stage magic, such as Marc DeSouza, Mio
Rodriguez, Haruo Shimada, Johnny Thompson, Martin Lewis, Jeff McBride,
Rocco Silano and Todd Robbins. Richard has attended magic lectures in
New York, New Jersey, Las Vegas, Pennsylvania and Florida. He has been a
student of the Caroline's Professional Comedy Course of New York City.
These effects have proven to be very strong attention getters making the

providing a vehicle for driving home key points and increasing the

Community Service
This summary represents several thousand hours over 20 years of service to
others.
Gold Congressional Award: finalist in recognition program for community
service for extensive work with prison inmates, homeless people, runaway
children, youth at risk and imprisoned juvenile delinquents. Nominated
by Captain R.H. Schwalm, United States Marine Corps.
White House Advance Team: Administrative aide reporting directly to the
United States Secret Service advance team coordinator; served with five
Presidential Visitations under President George Bush. Responsibilities
included recruiting drivers and participating in the Presidential
motorcade, securing loaned vehicles from area car dealers, recruiting
volunteers to serve as guides for visiting staff at special events, and
administrative computer support work.
Political Campaigns: Served with eight political campaigns, including
State Senator Denny O’Brien, State Representative Tim Kelly, Mayor Frank
Rizzo, Sam Katz for Mayor, District Attorney Ron Castille, Pennsylvania
State Supreme Court Justice Ron Castille, United States Senator Arlen
Specter, and United States President George Bush.
Philadelphia Young Republicans: Past President and Member of Board of
Directors.
Fifteen Hundred Locust Residents Association: Past President and member of
Board of Directors. Recruited leaders for and launched six clubs to
increase participation among our 800 residents.
US Marine Corps Reserve: Training for three months at Marine Corps Recruit
Depot Parris Island, and an additional three months at Camp Lejeune
North Carolina. Also served with the Field Artillery Unit of Third
Battalion, Fourteenth Marines in Philadelphia, as well as the Fourth
Force Reconnaissance Parascuba Unit in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The Pyramid Club: Founder and Chairman
of Programs Committee; planning and executing social and business
activities for the Pyramid Club, a center city private club.
Philadelphia Panorama Toastmasters
Club: Singly spearheaded the launching and promotion of this
