Once, people believed that they existed in the same universe as the Divine. When kings, queens, shamans or shepherds were confused by a dilemma, a God would speak to them. The enraptured mortal would hear this counsel and act in accordance with the Deity’s wish. Today, however, it seems few of us feel connected to a power greater than our own. In our modern world, we understand the stories of that earlier age as fables at best. Although most of us continue to believe in Spiritual Beings, many of us consider the personal interaction of humanity and the Divine as only a dream. But it is sad to believe that mankind is alone in the universe. Whenever we rely on the reality of our "human" powers, we limit ourselves to the survival skills of our unique physical, intellectual, emotional and cultural heritage. However, once we choose to develop our "higher" powers, we open up to an incredible prosperity of Pure Love that brings forth new instincts for the Body, inspirations for the Mind, enlightenment for the Heart and intuition for the Soul. The Partners Within offers 10 prayer meditations that build partnerships between our human and higher powers. These partnerships use prayer to guide our behavior and thoughts and meditation to nurture our feelings and beliefs. The first seven partnerships start with the colors of the sun for the right-brain and the last three use a trinity of words for the left-brain. The key to mastering these partnerships is simple: practice. The goal is to bring both brains together, creating a "partner within" that begins a journey to the Highest Power of all, Pure Love. Ultimately, allowing us to bring our reality and dreams together as one. ~ Relax. Slow down. Sit back. Take a deep breath. Look to the sky. Close your eyes. Quiet your mind. Become perfectly still. Shut out the world. Go deep within yourself. And now, open up to the power of Pure Love. 1. RED-HEAD-HEART Picture a Brilliant Red Light while meditating on what is best for your HEAD and HEART Visualize the color Red empowering yourself as four separate beings: a left-brain Body and Mind and a right-brain Heart and Soul. Visualize Red releasing the unique human aspects of your physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual powers. Visualize Red bringing forth the universal higher powers of your Body’s instincts, your Mind’s inspirations, your Heart’s enlightenment and your Soul’s intuition. Meditate with Red bringing together the best in all of your powers, allowing ever more Pure Love into your life. 2. ORANGE-PRESENT-PAST Picture a Fiery Orange Light while meditating on what is best for your PRESENT and PAST Visualize the color Orange cleaning your past of the sorrows of the Body’s lost opportunities, the Mind’s unfortunate choices, the Heart’s unloving partnerships and the Soul’s lonely journeys. See yourself discarding the lower powers of hate, jealousy, greed and revenge. Meditate with Orange surrounding your successes, refreshing your positive feelings, freeing your creative energies for continual self-improvement in the ever-present "now." 3. YELLOW-LOGIC-EMOTIONS Picture a Golden Yellow Light while meditating on what is best for your LOGIC and EMOTIONS Visualize the color Yellow healing the logic of your Body and Mind and the emotions of your Heart and Soul. See yourself embracing the higher virtues of humility, reason, integrity and charity. Meditate with Yellow and unite with a Higher Source that heals your Body’s behavior, your Mind’s thoughts, your Heart’s feelings and your Soul’s beliefs, helping you make new choices that are in the best interests of all. 4. GREEN-SELF-OTHERS Picture an Emerald Green Light while meditating on what is best for your SELF and OTHERS Visualize the color Green stimulating your compassion for your self and others. See yourself performing the skills you love, and while seeing yourself growing stronger in your caring for others, see yourself working to improve the economic, political, social and cultural realms of your world. Meditate with Green growing your care and reverence for the intricate web of life that sustains us all. 5. BLUE-SERVE-TRUST Picture a Sky Blue Light while meditating on what is best for your SERVICE and TRUST Visualize the color Blue radiating trust in this fact: the better you serve, the better you will be served in return. See yourself trusting the universal prohibitions against stealing, lying, anarchy and terror. Meditate with Blue honoring the Golden Rule among all the families, friends, institutions and communities you are involved with. 6. INDIGO-WORDS-VISION Picture a Deep Indigo Light while meditating on what is best for your WORDS and VISIONS Visualize the color Indigo and listen to the words of your Body and Mind, learning the difference between right and wrong, good and evil. Visualize Indigo and see the visions of your Heart and Soul, furthering your distinction between glad and sad, yes and no. Meditate with Indigo helping you understand all you can about your Body’s awareness, your Mind’s analysis, your Heart’s passions and your Soul’s reverence, making things better for yourself and for all. 7. PURPLE-PURPOSE-PEACE Picture a Royal Purple Light while meditating on what is best for your PURPOSE and PEACE Visualize the color Purple strengthening the mission of your prayer meditation session: to become totally at peace with yourself through time and practice. Meditate with the color Purple offering this inner peace, for here is where you will discover comfort for the Body, contentment for the Mind, affection for the Heart and guidance for the Soul. 8. LORD-GOD-SPIRIT Listen to the words "LORD-GOD-SPIRIT" while meditating on what is best for your BEHAVIOR and BELIEFS Visualize Lord awakening your behavior and God guiding your beliefs. Visualize Pure Spirit as the Creator of life that brings forth new Instincts for your Body, Inspirations for your Mind, Enlightenment for your Heart and Intuition for your Soul. Meditate on these sources of Pure Love; they come from a True Love that cannot betray. When Lord resides in your Body and Mind, God will manifest itself in your Heart and Soul and the power of Pure Spirit will enter your life. 9. JESUS-MARY-GRACE Listen to the words "JESUS-MARY-GRACE" while meditating on what is best for your REALITY and DREAMS Visualize an amazing Grace that is readily available from an infinite variety of male and female Spiritual Beings. They come as guardian angels, spirit guides, patron saints and deceased prophets that are ready and eager to assist your left-brain survival powers and your right-brain prosperity powers. (Substitute your preferred names for this invocation.) Feel your love for them and you will feel their Love for you in return. Meditate on the power of their Grace as they offer you a pathway to the Highest Source. 10. LIGHT-LOVE-ONE Listen to the words "LIGHT-LOVE-ONE" while meditating on what is best for your HUMAN and HIGHER powers Visualize a pure white Light representing your human powers of awareness and ideas. Visualize the beautiful warmth of Love representing your higher powers of compassion and respect. Visualize One as a vision of Spirit so Pure it creates Love whenever called. Meditate on the power of this brilliant white Light and the boundless energy of Love permeating your entire being, empowering one partnership of your Body, Mind, Heart and Soul. We bring them together for the benefit of all. AMEN As we bring more Pure Love into our lives, we magnify our sense of feeling loved. We expand the excitement and joy of being truly alive. We become empowered to love and act in the conduct of good will for ourselves and for all of humanity. The Divine is still with us and touches our everyday lives. Robert C. Felix was born in Detroit, Michigan during WWII. In the 1950’s he first realized there was something missing in the churches of his family. Their method of teaching spiritual power did not work for him nor did it seem to be working for the other people in his community. Thus began his search for a better way to approach the Pure Love he intuited existed somewhere in the universe. During the 1960’s, while studying the social sciences and religion in college, he became educated about a huge array of human behavioral similarities. This education reinforced his feeling that the more frequently people’s physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual realms were in conflict within themselves, the more likely they would be in conflict with others. By the 1970’s, through a personal commitment to study and work, the harmonious opposites of the universe were becoming apparent to him. However, the potentially wondrous power of this duality appeared to be woefully absent in most people’s souls. It was in the 1980’s that Felix had an epiphany and soon thereafter the powers of the colors of the sun were beginning to be revealed to him. During the 1990’s he began publishing on the web.
