THE MYTH OF CULTURAL PRIDE

To assume the proud mantle of our culture or heritage is to perpetuate a lie. Each of our lives is lived in the camp of the enemy, so to speak. If you were an Arab who hated Jews in your last life, you are probably a Jew in your current one. Which heritage are you supposed to take pride in?

Although hatred is actually directed against oneself, our physical survival mechanism generally projects it outward. Since we are the sum total of our past experiences, the Arab would bring his hatred with him, only in this life, it would be turned, with the same vehemence, toward Arabs.

The beauty of our System is that this individual’s hatred of Arabs will offset his previous hatred of Jews and inadvertently restore balance.

If you dedicate all your energies to advancing your country’s cause to the detriment of its neighbors, you, most certainly, will end up as one of those neighbors. So how beneficial is your current nationalism? Each of us is only temporarily a member of a particular family or nation because, at the moment, that is the best place for us to work toward achieving balance.

What we think we are doing to others, we are actually inflicting on ourselves.

It almost makes one feel that the humane thing to do would be to warn the management teams of all those multi-national conglomerates, who are raking in every dollar as if it were their last meal and leaving their trash for others to clean, that one day they will become the workers they are now cheating out of their rightful income, and be forced to live in the places they are now polluting.

In our System, today’s polluters are tomorrow’s environmental activists. We all end up cleaning up our own messes, no matter how many lives it takes.

Every time we change, we are moved from our old peer group to a new one, more compatible with our state of being, by whatever means are appropriate in our situation. We might be offered a job in another city or get the urge to apply for entry to another country etc?

Because many of us are not aware of the real reason for our relocation, being creatures of habit, we try to reconstruct the very environment we left behind because it was no longer appropriate for us.

If you find yourself in America, then you are an American, not an Irish-American or an Italian-American. When people born in the United States choose to call themselves African-Americans, rather than Americans, they are affirming their separateness, which is in direct conflict with their expressed demands for inclusion. The Supreme Intelligence which guides our physical environment responds to our feelings, not our intellectual arguments.

Since the natural order of our System is to maintain balance, behavior in line with the Universal Purpose will be supported and resistance discouraged. The people who accept their new environment (assimilate) will do well and those who refuse to adapt and try to hold on to their “roots?will be plagued by problems.

America’s melting pot is on its way to becoming a cauldron of splinter groups all clamoring for recognition of their culture, or demanding preferential treatment because of some perceived wrongs and in the process, destroying the very thing they came to take advantage of. If we’re not careful, we stand an excellent chance of producing the next tower of Babel.
