Turn Back The Hands Of Time

NATURAL IMMUNE SYSTEM BOOSTERS
With all of the negative news about flu shot shortages and adverse effects of popular prescription drugs, perhaps it is timely to reconsider the benefits of natural immune system boosters and anti-aging elements. The following information is presented courtesy of Dr. Larry Stowe of the Biotherapy Clinic in Bedford, Texas.
Herbal medicine and natural healing have an extremely long and ancient legacy. In particular, there are several fruits and berries which possess both ancient and modern health benefits, and deserve special consideration. These include: Chinese wolfberry, red raspberry, blueberry, bilberry, pomegranate, camu camu, and black currant. I will briefly summarize the associated health benefits of each of these plant nutrients. Afterwards, I will also provide additional online resources for more in-depth information.
* WOLFBERRY
The wolfberry provides a powerful combination of anti- oxidants and polysaccharides, which have been shown to enhance the activity of the immune system in several ways:
Enhanced T-cell response -- T-cells fight infections Increased Interleukin 2 activity -- stimulates T-cell production Increased phagocyte activity of macrophages -- infected tissue is efficiently digested Cell membrane stabilization -- increased disease resistance
* RED RASPBERRY
The red raspberry contains large amounts of Ellagitannin, which breaks down in the body into Ellagic Acid. Multiple clinical studies have shown that Ellagic Acid is a free-radical scavenger which is capable of binding cancer-causing agents and mutagenic substances. It can also trigger cancer cell death through a process called apoptosis, and may actually prevent cells from becoming malignant.
* BLUEBERRY
The common blueberry is an abundant source of several potent antioxidants, particularly Anthocyanin and related compounds. Clinical studies have shown that Anthocyanin neutralizes free radicals which are specific to age-related mental clarity and memory capacity. This particular family of antioxidants has also been proven effective in fighting the free radicals responsible for macular degeneration and other age-related eye disorders.
* BILBERRY
A close relative of the blueberry, the bilberry also contains a similar family of antioxidants. The bilberry is a specifically potent source of Anthocyanidin, which is noted for strengthening of the capillaries of the eye. Bilberry is already widely noted for slowing of age-related macular degeneration, night blindness, and diabetes-related eye disorders.
* POMEGRANATE
The pomegranate contains a unique group of antioxidants called polyphenols, which have been proven to have a positive impact upon circulatory health. Polyphenols will reduce levels of LDL (bad cholesterol), and can lower blood pressure by improving the elasticity of arterial walls. Clinical studies seem to support the pomegranate in its function to combat vascular and circulatory disease.
* CAMU CAMU
The Camu Camu berry is the highest source of all-natural vitamin C and associated bioflavanoids of any botanical on the planet. Levels of vitamin C in Camu Camu have been measured as 30 to 60 times higher than an equivalent volume of citrus fruit. The body's immune system is highly dependent on vitamin C for warding off viral infections, including the common cold. The entire antioxidant system of the body, and the ability to control free radicals, are centered around vitamin C and bioflavanoids. Also, age-related macular degeneration and miscellaneous eye problems have been linked to vitamin C deficiencies.
* BLACK CURRANT
The Black Currant is a potent natural source of calcium and iron, and contains valuable antioxidants. Black Currant has been shown to reduce the risk of kidney stones resulting from poor calcium metabolism. Often, poor forms of calcium supplements can aggravate this condition. Also, inferior iron supplementaion can lead to anemia, and compromise the blood's ability to transport oxygen. Black Currant also cleanses the body with a mild diuretic effect, which transports toxins out of the body through the kidneys. This also serves to equalize blood pressure.

As impressive as these individual nutritionally-dense berries are, they take on an awesome synergistic quality when consumed in combination. There are several health drinks on the market which incorporate some of these ingredients, mostly focused on the Wolfberry (sometimes called Goji berry). There is one product which significantly stands out above the rest. It's a recently developed product called NinZi(tm), manufactured in the U.S. by BodyExtreme. NinZi(tm) is unique in that it is all natural, containing no preservatives or added sweeteners. It also uses a proprietary molecular absorption technology incorporating a revolutionary form of structured water, which multiplies the nutrient absorption at the cellular level, while increasing cellular hydration.
As a result, the NinZi(tm) formulation provides at least seven very significant health benefits in the areas of immune system integrity and anti-aging effects:
* Helps fight infections
* Lowers cancer risk factors
* Increases mental clarity
* Improves circulation
* Controls free radicals
* Preserves eyesight
* Cleanses body toxins
